Welcome to the official web site of Troop 414! Located in Pearland, Texas, Troop 414 has been a part of the Boy Scouts of America for over 10 years and is proud to be the home troop of over 22 Eagle Scouts. Meetings are every Monday night at Shepard of the Heart Methodist Church from 7:00-8:00pm. Click here for a map to the church where we meet. Please feel free to view the "About Troop 414" page. Patrol Method Training - Feb. 3rd - 7:00 - 8:30 pm!

Troop 414,

The Troop Leadership and Scoutmasters will be conducting a patrol method training course on Friday, February 3 from 7pm until 8:30pm in the Multipurpose room at Shepherd of the Heart. This training is REQUIRED for all Patrol Leaders, Assistant Patrol Leaders, Troop Leadership positions, and FIRST YEAR/NEW SCOUTS. Other scouts AND PARENTS are certainly welcome. The purpose of this training is to prepare the youth leadership for their roles, and to teach the newer scouts about the patrol method and how the troop leadership functions.

Grayson Pearson Eagle Project - Hygiene Kits Supplies Needed

Troop 414,

I am currently working on my Eagle Scout rank. One of my requirements to obtain this rank, is to perform a service project for my community. I have selected to assemble and distribute hygiene kits to the Star of Hope mission in Houston, TX. These hygiene kits will help people who need a little extra in a time of need.

Board of Review Process

1. The Scoutmaster conference (and, therefore, all other rank requirements) must be completed PRIOR to scheduling a BOR. Scheduling a BOR without these items completed results in the Board not being able to conduct that review, and therefore, potentially causing another scout to miss a BOR opportunity.
